Rulers wish President good health
ABU DHABI - The President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, received at the Al Bahr Palace here yesterday afternoon His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain and Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman.
Present at the meeting was Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Shaikh Zayed also received Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; Shaikh Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Deputy Ruler of Fujairah; and Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.
The Rulers and Crown Princes wished the President good health and longevity to carry on the progress and development drive in the best interest of the country and its people.
The meeting was also attended by Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister; Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Saeed Mohammed Al Kindi Speaker of the Federal National Council; Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Major-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Interior Ministry Under-Secretary; Shaikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary for the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Chairman of the board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian works; Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Director-General of the President's Office; Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Guest House and Protocol Department; Shaikh Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhbout Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary for Public Affairs at the President's Office, Shaikh Humaid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, Minister of Planning; Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; and others.
