The second phase of the training covers conducting parallel courses in training and qualifying driving instructors and nine examiners, said Mahmoud Al Marzooqi, Director of Training and Qualification of Drivers Department at Licensing Agency.

“The Transition Training aims to improve the performance of examiners, identify weak points, and polish skills by eliminating shortcomings and provide better quality service,” the TRAV official said.

“The project envisages 12 courses, and each course covers the training of nine examiners for two weeks. At the end of the project there will be an intensive course to refresh the information obtained from all courses,” stated Al Marzooqi.

Al Marzooqi also hailed the management of the five driving institutes for their support as well as the Australian consultant Vic Roads International, who helped with the success of this training project.
