Dubbed as ‘Qeyadi’ Scheme, the programme is opening up windows for grooming young Emiratis to take up key positions up to CEO level.

The RTA has tied up with the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre (MBRC) to launch the scheme. RTA Chairman Mattar Al Tayer and MBRCLD Executive Director Adel Al Shared signed the agreement.

Al Tayer said the scheme covers the selection of 20 directors and 20 managers in accordance with guidelines of basic skills set by RTA, to be followed by their assessment of the 41 directors and 96 managers.

“Once chosen, they will undergo an intensive course for over 24 months starting from June this year.”

Al Shared said that ‘Qeyadi’ ushers in a new era of strategic partnership between the Centre and the RTA.lily@khaleejtimes.com
