Riding the Dune

The company has introduced new trends into the GCC market with their Autumn/Winter collection

With a new season coming up, Dune London introduces a host of new trends, both formal and casual, into the UAE market. This season, the focus is on reviving older trends from the 1970's, breathing some life into retro fashion by combining modern trends to make an exciting transition into the new season. 
Autumn/Winter this year is characterised by a rich colour palette of chocolates, camel, warm oxblood, rust, and Amazon greens. The in-print this season is reptile, with lovely snake and crocodile prints dominating the collection.
The accessories are characterised by warm reds, oranges, and burgundy - through their shoulder bags and rounded saddle bags. Textures play a big role in this collection, with tumble faux leathers, decorative quilting, and high gloss reptiles. 
Embellishments are a part of the trend this season, with extravagant trims and treatments across footwear profiles. Open court silhouettes are embellished with metallic teals, silvers, bronze, and golds.
Their collection also features some 'show stoppers', designs that were produced in-house, featuring diamantes on strappy sandals, classic courts, trainers, and boots. One particular style, the Atlantis Sequin Collection, reflects the beauty of the sea by using iridescent sequins across sports and silhouettes. 
Another introduction in the Autumn/Winter collection this year is the Easy Line; a bespoke collection of slip-on runners with high-rebound contoured socks, specifically designed to absorb pressure on particular points on the foot, and a cup on the heel for support and fluid movements. The Easy Line captures the free spirit of women on the move, where the outsoles are lightweight, the uppers are soft and breathable, and  the designs are sleek and feminine. 
The men's collection this season is inspired from the 'Great Outdoors', with hiker styles being emphasised. The style is finished with padded collars, flecked laces, and shearling linings for warmth during the winter.
The Western range focuses on boots with Cuban heels, on ankle boots with buckle straps, and on soft suedes in brown and tan. The men's collection, too, features reptile print, with shoes having a snake effect to complete the look.
