Return ticket must when travelling to Philippines

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received an official memo from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, alerting tourists visiting the Philippines to have return tickets that entitle them a free visa for 21 days.

Ahmed Al Dhahiri, Director of the Consular Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Filipino Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stressed that aviation companies that allow a passenger without a return ticket to board a plane would face administrative punishments in accordance to the Filipino Immigration Law. He called on the citizens to abide by the entry rules to ensure their security, safety and avoid deportation in case of any violation.
