They added in a statement that smart devices are being manipulated to circulate fake ads about jobs in some departments, public agencies or private companies, and even provision of humanitarian aid to the needy. The police added that the advertisers do not even refer to the official source of the ads.

The police’s Al Ameen Service has warned that unscrupulous people use personal e-mails to receive applications and CVs from applicants, but the main purpose behind this is to identify the girls and exploit their needs for any job or humanitarian aid.

Al Ameen Service has warned the public not to disclose their personal files and CVs to phony advertisers, urging them to apply directly to the public institutions or private companies or go directly to the office of charity organisations.
