Reptile in a bag of peanuts!

But the UAE national woman Norah Mohammed had to go through this unpleasant experience.

The woman, who is working with a local government department, said: ''At first I thought that the body was of a big insect but when on looking carefully at it, I discovered that it was a dead reptile and a full grown one at that''.

She guessed that since the plastic bag was tightly fastened, it was an indication that the reptile had got into the plastic bag at the manufacturing source.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a top source at RAK Municipality warned the public against consuming any food products that don’t conform to the public health rules and hygiene. ''I also do call upon the public to report such cases to the department,'' he added.
