Meanwhile, the delegation of Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Humanitarian and Charitable Services has returned from Syria and Lebanon following a field visit to oversee the relief work in refugees camps.
A total of 18 camps have been set up by the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation.
The relief plane is carrying household goods and food material, particularly the canned food, baby milk, and cereals, said deputy chairman of the board of trustees of Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Humanitarian and Charitable Services, Bu Melha.
He said that the relief plane was sent in cooperation with the Fujairah Charity Association and the Dubai Charity Association.
This was the sixth plane sent by the foundation to the Lebanese people. The total assistance amounted to Dh500,000, Bu Melha said.
The relief goods will be handed over to the Lebanese Charity Association which is responsible for distributing these items among the victims.
