ABU DHABI — The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) on Wednesday started the Iftar project at 96 locations nationwide and will be providing 25,000 Iftar meals daily worth Dh6.4 million.
The project is part of RCA’s plans to further promote the values of solidarity and humanitarian giving and philanthropy in the community in the holy month of Ramadan in line with directives from the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. —
