The 14th edition of the event is being organised by Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) under the patronage of Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.
“The Dubai Ramadan Forum aims to spread the enriching values of the Islamic faith and its tolerant teachings aimed at establishing peace and harmony among people of diverse nationalities. Dubai serves as an excellent model of this wonderful coexistence, as ... the city is home to more than 200 nationalities from around the world living together as one big multicultural family,” said Hamad Mohammed bin Mejren, Senior Vice-President, Dubai Events and Convention Bureau at the DTCM.
Entrance to the forum will be free for the public.

Preacher of the Nation — a competition aimed at honing the skills of students in public speaking, poetry recitation and preaching — will be hosted as part of the forum.
One of the new additions to the calendar of events is an exhibition that explores the history and art of Arabic calligraphy through the ages. It will cover many formats and techniques, with works presented innovatively in the form of three-dimensional sculptures and panels. The exhibition will be held daily from June 22 to July 6 at The Dubai Mall. The exhibition will host 28 calligraphers, of whom 12 are from the UAE, 14 from other Arab and Islamic countries and two from Spain, showing 70 panels and seven sculptures.
