RAK Ruler’s brother’s death mourned
RAS AL KHAIMAH — The Ras Al Khaimah Ruler’s Court mourned the death of Shaikh Salem bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, brother of His Highness Shaikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, who passed away early yesterday morning.
The court, in statement, ordered official mourning and lowering of the flag for a period of three days in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The court prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal blessings for the deceased’s soul .
Shaikh Salem was laid to rest at Al Quawsim cemetery yesterday afternoon.
Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offerred the funeral prayer for Shaikh Salem with other dignitaries.
Shaikh Saud will receive condolences on the death of his uncle for three days at Al Dhait Palace from 8 am to 12noon and from 4pm to 7pm.
