RAK Ruler gets Swiss Ambassador’s Award
RAS AL KHAIMAH - His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr bin Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received today at Al Dhait Palace, Ambassador Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart of Switzerland.
The meeting, which was attended by Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Shaikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations for the best interest of the two peoples.
The Swiss envoy presented the Swiss Ambassador’s Award to Sheikh Saud in recognition of his efforts to bolster relations between the UAE and Switzerland, to champion educational, social and cultural events and his support for developmental, economic, trade and investment achievements in Ras Al Khaimah. The Award was instituted in 2008 to recognise significant efforts the senior UAE officials make to boost bilateral relations.
A number of Sheikhs and top local officials attended the meeting.
