RAK roads construction work to cost Dh21.5m

RAS AL KHAIMAH - The Ras AL Khaimah Municipality in co-ordination with the Ras Al Khaimah Public Work and Public services with the support of Abu Dhabi Municipality will commence the first phase of more road construction works in the emirate at a cost of Dh21.5 million.

The first phase of the project will be completed by end of October next year, according to sources from the municipal authorities. The project is one of the largest infrastructure projects being implemented in Ras Al Khaimah. It includes construction works of unpaved internal roads at different residential areas in the southern, northern and central parts of the emirate in addition to the remote areas. Heavy dust, traffic jam were affected by the unpaved roads.

The road construction project has been undertaken by a national company.
