Kawkab Mohsin's super-sized paintings catch eyes of visitors during National Day celebrations at Rashid Centre for People of Determination
Registration to participate in the Accession Day Championship will begin on August 1 and the championship will be held on August 6, said Laila Al Jassim, Manager of Modhesh Fun City.
"We have seen tremendous interest in the Accession Day championship, with more and more children asking us if they can sign-up to participate," she said. She clarified that the championship is open to anyone who wants to participate, as long as they are between 6 and 16 years old, use the original Let's and Go cars and are ready to handle the challenge of enhanced racing circuits.
Thus far, the Let's and Go Zone has held weekly championships, with participants scoring 25 points and above securing a place in the Emirates Championship. The top three winners of the upcoming Accession Day Championship will also qualify for the final championship, in addition to receiving valuable prizes from the Space Toon television channel and championship medals.
Thirty competitors are expected to take part in the championship, and will have to make their way through five different circuits to gain points, Al Jassim added.
The popular 'Lets & Go' racing series draws inspiration from the fast and furious sport of Formula 1. At the Lets & Go zone in Modhesh Fun City, children's abilities and creative skills are tested while they design, build and race the cars. The main goal of the race is to encourage children to think logically and have fun at the same time.
To register for the championship, participants can go to the Let's and Go Zone in Modhesh Fun City or call the Ahlan Dubai service number on 600 545 5555.
