ABU DHABI — Major Ibrahim Hassan Al Marzouki, Head of the Department of Juvenile Welfare in Al Mafraq affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Correctional and Punitive Institutions of Abu Dhabi Police, received yesterday a delegation from the Department of Juvenile Police in the Ministry of Interior in Qatar.
It was headed by First Lieutenant Mohammed Hamad Hassan.
Major Ibrahim Hassan Al Marzouki provided an overview of the department and the role played by it to rehabilitate juveniles. They discussed the activities and ongoing programmes offered by the department to the juveniles such as the religious, social and sports activities and programmes.
The delegation later toured the various sections of the department.
They also visited educational care department and were briefed on the study, tests and the facilities offered to students at all academic levels.
