Qanat Al Qasba renamed
SHARJAH - Qanat Al Qasba, a popular entertainment and cultural hub in Sharjah, has been rechristened as Al Qasba, senior officials said at a Press conference yesterday. The new name also comes in with a new logo.
Speaking on the occasion, Marwan Al Sarkal, CEO of the Al Qasba Development Authority, said, “We have decided to turn this destination into an international hub by organising high quality events. We have been highly successful in attracting a large number of visitors during the last one year. Restaurants and cafes here have recorded a 99 per cent jump in sales compared to last year.”
