Properties section introduces new services

ABU DHABI — The lands and properties registration section at the Abu Dhabi Municipality has introduced a series of new services to facilitate and streamline transactions.

Commenting on the new services, Mohammed Ali Al Murar, head of the section, said Empost would deliver documents within a couple of days since the date of processing formalities.

He added that Empost would charge Dh10 for delivery of each package. “The new system is optional and around 400 to 500 transactions are processed daily since the system was put in place on April 1.”

Apart from the Empost service, the section has introduced SMS alerts through which customers can receive information about their transactions.

“The section receives 300 SMS’ per a day,” said Al Murar.
