Programme on heart ailments
DUBAI - The Dubai Department of Health and Medical Services will present today a medical education programme dubbed 'Echo in Context 2003', which will discuss the latest developments in the management and treatment of aortal heart valve disease.
The programme will be broadcast live via satellite from Duke University Medical Centre in Durham, North Carolina, in the US to the Dohms Auditorium behind Rashid Hospital and to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The programme will start at 2pm and access will be free of charge to heart specialists, medical students and medical professionals.
The programme, which is being held in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Health and Worldcare, will show specialists from the Cleveland Clinic, Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Washington University and the Medical School of Duke University in action.
