Probe into man’s death at Global Village

Police and Dubai Municipality are investigating the death of a man at Global Village on Thursday evening. Global Village said the ‘’accident’’ happened in the Fun Fair area near one of the rides. Police said the victim was a 37-year old Emirati.

As a mark of respect to the deceased, all entertainment shows at the park were cancelled on Friday.

Police and the Municipality were informed of the death late on Thursday evening, Global Village said in the statement.

Officials from Dubai Police and safety inspectors from DM rushed to the scene of the accident.

‘’The park’s management assures to provide full support to the investigations,’’ Global Village said.
