The year has started in favour of Prithviraj. Apart from establishing his box office status in 2015, and also proving his versatility as an actor, the young actor has achieved the first certified hit of the year with his new film Pavada, directed by Marthandan.
Playing an alcoholic and taking the audience on an emotional roller-coaster ride, Prithviraj now gets back to being a savvy 'James' in his new film titled James and Alice. The film marks the directorial debut of ace-cinematographer Sujith Vasudev and is penned by Dr. Janardhanan, who has earlier directed movies like Mohanlal's Mahasamudram.
Dr. Janardhanan is one of the underutilised talents in Malayalam cinema, having proved his mettle in theatre and TV series. So when he doesn't take on the burden of directing, and resorts to his core strength of writing, audiences can expect a new take on romance.
