Prime Minister of Bangladesh visits Grand Mosque

The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikha Hasina Wajed, has visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. She was accompanied by UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh, Saeed bin Hajar Al Shehhi and Bangladeshi Ambassador to UAE Mohammed Omran.

At the arrival, they were received by Yousif Al Obaidli, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Sheikha Hasina and the delegation accompanying her toured the Mosque, where they were briefed by the cultural guide on different components of the mosque and their architectural importance.

The guests also toured the tomb of late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. At the end of the tour, Al Obaidli presented a book Spaces of Light to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
