Postcard Millionaire draw today

DUBAI — The fifth draw of Emirates Post’s Postcard Millionaire Campaign will be held today at Dubai Central Post Office in Karama.

The fifth draw, which was earlier scheduled for December 2, was postponed due to the mourning for late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The December 16 electronic draw for 10 cash prizes and a Mercedes ML 350 will feature an hour-long entertainment show. The event begins at 7.15pm and will also present prizes to the 10 previous winners of the promotion.

Nuruddin, a Bangladeshi winner of the grand prize of Dh500,000, will be one of persons receiving his cheque. Eleven-year-old Syed Aamir, holder of ticket number 0285691, won a brand new Mercedes ML 350 in the fourth Postcard Millionaire draw. Reema Ahmed Zaid, the first woman to win in the Postcard Millionaire Campaign, had bought six postcard packs. Her ticket No. 3412761 had won her Dh150,000. A 54-year-old Benedicta D’Souza, an electrician, purchased five postcard packs and ticket No. 3934771 made him Dh50,000 richer. Restaurateur P. Abdul Sathar has won Dh25,000.
