The body of a man in his fifties was found decomposed in his flat in Sharjah Industrial Area Number 3 early on Tuesday morning, according to a Sharjah Police source.
The police was notified by a relative of the man who said he knocked on the door of the deceased several times and that his relative did not open the door despite the fact that his car was parked under the building.
Suspicions that something has gone wrong with his relative forced the visiting relative to contact the police and police officials broke the house door of the deceased and found his body decomposed.
The police source said in another case on Tuesday morning, initial investigations showed that a 38-year-old Indian labourer committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of an under-construction building in Sharjah Industrial Area Number 6.
Officers found the man had bled heavily and was dead when they reached the site.
“Other labourers who were working at the same building told the police officials that they were shocked from the bizarre behaviour of their friend who seemed to be fine and did not have any problem,” the source said.
They said that while working together he suddenly left them and went to the fourth floor and few seconds later they found him jumping from the fourth floor.
