Police patrols' role emphasised
DUBAI — Brigadier Abdul Jalil Mehdi, deputy director of Preventive Security Department, Dubai Police, has emphasised the importance of police patrols in their sustained efforts to arrest those who violate UAE laws.
He said police patrols must possess information about all locations in their specialised areas, including banks , gold shops and shopping malls, so that they could respond promptly to a situation.
Brig. Mehdi urged police officers to identify in detail factors that could affect safety and security in their respective areas.
