These lands are part of the second quota of grants, as Shaikh Humaid had earlier in February handed over around 200 plots to UAE nationals.
The gesture of Shaikh Humaid has come as part of his vision to ensure adequate housing and shelter for UAE nationals in the emirate and help them lead comfortable and happy lives in their homeland.
The Ajman Municipality yesterday morning handed out the maps of these plots and coupons of allotments to beneficiaries who expressed their gratitude to Shaikh Humaid Al Nuaimi for his generosity.
The allotments of the lands will continue for one more week until all the beneficiaries receive the documents pertaining to their lands to start the procedures of construction.
Speaking to Khaleej Times, Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Department of Municipality and planning, said that Shaikh Humaid is very keen to provide the nationals with proper housing to facilitate their settlement and encourage the young people to start their families.
“The distribution of lands will continue until the government ensures all the citizens are enjoying stability in the emirate,” he commented.
Shaikh Rashid said there will be another quota of plots to be distributed soon through the municipality committee which was formed earlier to review the applications of the UAE nationals in need of lands.
Shaikh Rashid stressed that the areas in which the plots are located, have water and electricity supply as well as telephone lines and other essential services.
