Pipe burst on Emirates Road affects traffic
DUBAI -Traffic at the Emirates Road towards Sharjah near the Silicon Oasis was badly affected on Monday morning after water accumulated on the road due to a pipe burst.
The officials of the Dubai Municipality said that the road had to be closed down for atleast 6 hours in order to control the situation.
Following this, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has started off with investigations in order to ascertain the party responsible for the mess. Traffic at the other alternative routes was also affected as a result.
