The first flight will start operating on April 1 and will arrive Dubai at 11.30 hrs to depart for Quetta at 12.30 hrs local time, according to a Press release issued by Pakistan International yesterday.
This new weekly flight will provide a direct link between Pakistan's province of Balochistan with Dubai, and will facilitate the Baloch community residing in the UAE to travel direct instead of traveling via Karachi.
It is another promise fulfilled by the national carrier as this direct link was a pending demand from the Pakistani expatriate community for some time.
Promotional fares are also being implemented for the benefit of the passengers.
Flight schedule to Karachi has also been fine-tuned to provide convenient and immediate connections to passengers travelling to Multan.
These passengers can now avail of a connecting flight to Multan within 2-3 hours after reaching Karachi.
Departure times for flights to Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar will remain unchanged.
