The new service, Empost Jawaz, will allow Abu Dhabi residents to receive their passports at their specified locations.

The agreement was signed by Brigadier Hadher Khalaf Al Muhairi, Director-General of the General Directorate of Naturalisation and Residence and Essa M. Al Daboos, General Manager of Empost. The signing ceremony took place at the Abu Dhabi Naturalisation and Residency Department headquarters in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

"The Jawaz Service by Empost will be of great benefit to residents of our emirate. They now do not have to travel and spend time at the Abu Dhabi Naturalisation and Residency Department to collect their passports. Empost will do that for them at a nominal charge and hand them over to the applicants," said Lt.-Colonel Saeed Hamad Al Suwaidi of Abu Dhabi Naturalisation and Residency Department.
