Passport case trail begins
DUBAI — The trial of a Nigerian man, charged with entering the UAE on a false passport, began yesterday.
I.J, 35, had entered the UAE on a Cameroon passport and used it as a guaranty to rent a car, Dubai Courts heard. When I.J failed to show up in time, the car rental company based in Deira contacted the police.
The police nabbed the accused who later confessed to using a passport that did not belong to him.
