Passive smoking another problem
Another common problem quoted by all the commuters Khaleej Times spoke to, is the passive smoking, the other men who wait in the line, smoke continuously which ends up annoying and affecting the other commuters.
We asked Dr Rahul .N. Nathwani, who holds an Advanced Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology from the United States and works at the Dubai Healthcare City, quoted that “ the double hazard of standing in the heat and being exposed to passive smoking is quite deadly, passive smoking can lead to Chronic disease like Lung Cancer and lung bronchitis; whereas standing in the sun is a sure shot path to suffering from Heat Strokes and Sun Burns.”
