Participants at World Congress on Juvenile Justice hails UAE’s child protection record

The UAE was the only Arab country participating in the conference, where participants commended the child protecting strategy adopted by the Ministry of Interior.

Geneva — The organisers and participants at the World Congress on Juvenile Justice have praised the UAE experience in the field of child protection.

The UAE was the only Arab country participating in the conference, where participants commended the child protecting strategy adopted by the Ministry of Interior. 

The recommendations of the conference focused on implementing the principles adopted on juvenile justice and improving the international cooperation specially in the framework of child rights, victims and witnesses.

 The World Congress on Juvenile Justice, hosted by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office of Justice and non-governmental organisation Terre des homes, was attended by representatives of over 90 countries and more than 110 NGOs worldwide to discuss best practices of children rights and juvenile justice.
