Partial closure of Ittihad Road
SHARJAH — The Sharjah Police in cooperation with the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (DPW) will partially close an area of Al Ittihad road, particularly the road side towards Sharjah to complete maintenance work on the road.
The road closure will be in two phases, the first phase of which will be closing the road from midnight of Sunday till around 11am on Monday.
The second phase will include the closure of the areas located in front of the Emirates petrol station from 12 midnight on Monday till 10am on Tuesday.
The roadws will be temporarily closed till the completion of maintenance work on the heavily used road and till maintaining the decreasing level of road cement at the areas where maintenance work will be conducted.
Motorists are urged to comply with safety rules and to strictly follow the signboards placed on the road showing them directions to alternative routes till maintenance work is completed. People interested in suggesting and lodging complaints should directly call the hotline number 80086767.
