Panel meets 32 
kids of Emiratis in India

The committee assigned to identify UAE nationals born abroad has conducted interviews of 32 children whose fathers are Emirati and were born outside the country to Indian mothers.

The committee is led by Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs Major-General Nasser Al Awadi Al Menhali.

The move comes in implementation of the directives by the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and is being followed up by Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Maj-Gen Al Menhali stated that the committee has completed its work of studying cases to review applications from the nationals’ children in India. He also hailed efforts of the UAE Embassy in India for facilitating the committee’s tasks by providing the required data and information and giving the opportunity to meet these children.
