Ingredients
Paneer 250 gm
Cashew nut 20 gm
Milk 30 ml
Ghee or butter 30 gm
Cardamom, green 2 pc
Onion, chopped 100 gm
Ginger, ground 20 gm
Chilli, green, ground 2 pc
Curd, beaten 50 gm
Salt to taste
Garam masala powder 15 gm
Cream 20 ml
Rose water 5 ml
Method
Cut paneer into 2-inch cubes; fry; keep aside.
Soak cashew nuts in milk for 20 mins then grind to a paste and keep aside.
In a frying pan, heat the ghee. Add cardamom, onion, ginger and green chili and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. Now, add the beaten curd, cashew nut paste and cook for about 5-6 minutes on low heat stirring continuously.
Add salt and garam masala powder and simmer for another 3 mins.
Add paneer cubes and cream; allow to simmer for 3-4 mins. Sprinkle rose water on top. Remove paneer from the sauce, plate the sauce and then arrange the paneer on top.
