Pakistan PM Imran Khan calls Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday telephoned Indian leader Narendra Modi to congratulate him on his party's victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
During the conversation, the prime minister expressed his desire for both the countries to work together for the betterment of their peoples.
Reiterating his vision for peace, progress and prosperity in South Asia, the prime minister said he looked forward to working with Modi to advance these objectives.
Earlier, Modi had responded to Khan's congratulatory tweet after the BJP-led NDA swept the election.
