The new paid parking timings throughout Ramadan will be from 9am until 4pm, and from 10.30pm to 2.30am. Mawaqif ticket fees remain unchanged during the holy month.

Ramadan is expected to begin on August 1, as per the Islamic lunar calendar.

The move comes as part of the DoT’s strategy to provide effective car parking solutions to the public in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, with the aim of facilitating their parking and travel needs during the month. — anwar@khaleejtimes.com
