An official at the Muraqqabat Police Station said the accident happened around 10am when the Indian driver of the RTA bus lost control of the vehicle and hit the four wheel in front, before hitting four other cars.
The Pakistani man who was driving the four wheel was crushed to death.
He died on the spot, the official added.
The injured, who belong to various nationalities, were rushed to Rashid Hospital for medical treatment. According to hospital sources, 10 of the injured were discharged later in the evening, while one is currently undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, investigation into the exact cause of the accident is under way.
