RAS AL KHAIMAH — Officials of the RAK Medical Zone carried out inspection of all major hospitals and health care centres in the emirate during the Eid holidays to check their condition and visit patients.
The officials provided medicines to the hospitals and distributed gifts to the patients. Dr Mahmoud Al Fakr, Director-General of the Public Health Policies at the Ras Al Khaimah Medical Zone, said the inspection tours were aimed at ensuring that the hospitals and health care centres were maintaining the country’s medical standards and providing better health services to the patients.The medical officials also wanted to find out the various problems faced by the hospitals and health care centres in RAK so that they could come up with immediate solutions to help improve the health services in the emirate. Among the hospitals visited were Saqr Government Hospital, Ibrahim Hamad Obaidullah hospital, Saif Bin Ghobash hospital and others.
