The delicate truce held through its seventh day after a 24-hour extension despite a shooting claimed by Hamas that killed three people in Jerusalem
The matter has been referred to the Public Prosecution Department for necessary action.
The action was initiated after a man reported to the police the availability of the objectionable cards game kit in the grocery.
“The game consists of cards that contain devilish phrases, sketches and shameful pictures,” said Mohammed Anber Al Amry, head of Inspection and Control Section, Department of Planning and Economy. The game also contained hieroglyphic sentences and devil worship expressions, he added. Al Amry said the game kit does not comply with the local traditions or UAE government’s policies, nor does it indicate the country of origin.
