NTR Jr takes stage tonight

DUBAI - The star cast of Simhadri, a highly successful Telugu film, arrived in Dubai yesterday to celebrate the 50th day of the film in 191 theatres.

The male lead, NTR Junior, a grandson of legendary N T Rama Rao, spoke at the Press meet and expressed his happiness that the film's stupendous success was being celebrated in the UAE.

Talking about the film, director S S Rajamouli, said that the film was unique in that the character of the hero hailing from the state of Andhra Pradesh, goes to Kerala and becomes their saviour.

The film has the right ingredients to endear itself to all classes of audience. The producer of the film, Vijayakumar Verma, was also present at the Press meet.

Mr Katta Prasad of Western Union Money Transfer, who is the main sponsor of the event expressed his happiness over the event being organised here and the opportunity to sponsor the same.

Andhra Brothers who distributed the film and organised the event were present.

MAA TV, the Telugu channel, is covering the event.

Prosenter of the event, Mr Tagore, explained the highlights of the programme where the entire unit of the film, including the heroines, Bhumika and Ankita, together with Namita would perform on stage.

The dance director of the film along with his troupe of dancers would choreograph the show.

The highlight of the show would be a performance by the Hero NTR titled Singamalai Speaks.'

The show is being held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium 8.30pm tonight.
