Speaking to Khaleej Times Mr Al Hamrani said the web site www.am.gov.ae, which was designed by the Information Technology Section of the municipality, would be linked at the beginning of next year to the e-Government portal to deal with other services and department including trade, licence, central laboratory, health section, staff affairs as well as with the public directly.
He added that the government of Ajman is encouraging the use of advanced information technology in all services being provided by its establishments and foundations. He pointed out that the municipality is working on enhancing its services for residents by establishing contact with public and officials of the government and private establishments through the web site.
Mr Al Hamrani added that the web site will make it easy for the general public to acquire any information with regard to the civic body’s services such as health, agriculture, environment, planning as well as municipal regulations in various fields.
