DUBAI — The Dubai-based integrated advertising consultancy firm, ZACH Multimedia, is set to launch a global online poll to choose the Millennium’s Modern 7 World Wonders.

“The architectural or structural or monumental marvels being created after 2000 and which befit the ‘World Wonder’ crown, as decided by a global audience, are to be chosen through Millennium’s Modern 7 World Wonders Global On-line Poll Competition, Zacharias Joseph, Chief Ideations and Operations Officer of ZACH Multimedia, said.

“A total of 21 choices - superb projects/buildings/concepts from around the world - will be provided by ZACH Multimedia. The global audience is also empowered to nominate up to seven of their own choices, making it truly a democratic and opinion-inclusive global poll campaign,” Joseph added.

“The competition, which will identify the seven most popular global choices to be crowned Millennium’s Modern 7 World Wonders, will be launched towards the end of this month with a yearly competition validity period. The competition will run from October 2007 to October 2008,” stated Joseph.

“This competition is also a tribute to the visionaries who have dreamt of such magnificent projects, the architects and builders who etched them out of thin air, the financiers who backed these dreams, fully realising their potential and to the workers who by their blood, sweat and toil have created these structures, building them brick by brick,” he added.
