Parents of students yesterday made a beeline for Al Muala High School yesterday causing heavy traffic congestion in and around the school. They were there with their daughters struggling to get hold of the school uniform, but the dealer assigned to supply the uniforms failed to meet the heavy demand until last evening.

The UAQ Education Zone expressed disappointment over the supplier’s failure to meet the demand for uniforms.

Education Zone officials, however, added that it had ordered the factory’s management to stop the delivery of uniforms because people were behaving in a disorderly manner and snatching them from the boxes.
