No calls to RAK 999 for 2 hours on March 17

The public may call 998 to report emergency medical cases from 3pm to 5pm due to development works.

Ras Al Khaimah - The RAK Police will not receive emergency calls on 999 for two hours on March 17. Brigadier Ghanim Ahmed Ghanim, Director-General of the Central Operations Room of the RAK Police, said the 999 number will be off service from 3pm to 5pm due to development works.

“The public may contact the Civil Defence toll No. 997 instead to report any traffic accident or an emergency situation and other relevant incidents to the RAK Police.”

The public may call 998 to report emergency medical cases, he said. -ahmedshaaban@khaleejtimes.com
