GDRFA centres across the emirate will be closed for the Prophet's birthday, the authority announced
“It is a great pleasure and privilege for us to be able to organise an event that highlights a traditional form of art in the Arab and Islamic world. Such exhibitions not only uphold Dubai's heritage and culture but also promote the art form of Arabic calligraphy," said Marwan bin Beyat, Manager Events of the DTCM and Supervisor of the exhibition.
On show will be more than 100 works by 38 calligraphers from 17 countries.
An estimated 5,000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition.
A series of lectures and workshops will be organised parallel to the exhibition.
