The new bylaws are aimed at bettering the labour accommodations and ensure their hygienic condition. We also pay tribute to the awareness programmes announced by Khaled Al Menhali, Head of the Professional Safety department with the Ministry of Labour, to enhance professional safety. But, the support of the inspection department related to industrial safety is still required to ensure that regulations are followed.

The ministy still lacks the sufficient number of inspectors to enforce the rules and regulations. All companies must abide by the regulations.
