New procedures for driving instructors, examiners

DUBAI — The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will introduce a new set of procedures for qualifying driving instructors and examiners in a bid to streamline training and testing, Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of the Licensing Agency in the authority, said in a statement recently.

The new procedures will come into effect in November and will be enforced for a period of 34 weeks during which trainees will be deployed in groups so that the driving tests of candidates will not be affected.
