Mr Tayer said the Dewa management is currently studying offers proposed by specialised companies and will assign one to start implementing the project.

"The station will include a power electricity station operated by steam and gas turbines, along with water desalination units and a power transfer station capable of transferring more than 400kv of electricity," Mr Tayer said. He said a channel of water will be constructed for water supply from the sea, adding that it will preserve water from oil pollution.
