New consul welcomed

Palec started his career in the DFA in 1995. He was a practicing lawyer connected with the Fornier Lava and Fornier Law Offices and engaged in litigation, corporate and real estate law.

A graduate of BA Economics and Law from the Ateneo de Manila University, he was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1990 upon passing the November 1989 bar Examinations.

His previous assignments include executive director of the Office of Legal Affairs, Consul in Kuala Lumpur, Oman and New Zealand and Charge d’Affaires in Muscat.

The Consulate General bid goodbye to Welfare Officer Racquel Llagas-Kunting, who left on February 9.
