New Award for Education Supporters

On the instructions of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the award committee announced on Sunday the award honouring those organisations in the country that support education institutions with initiatives to enrich the educational environment, raise its level and help reach its mission. Such initiatives are considered to be supportive to government efforts. It also expresses the true meaning of a partnership between educational institutes and the community, the committee said.

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance will award the services of the most supportive organisation, either within the country or abroad, towards education in the UAE.

The committee has invited all organisations concerned to participate according to the conditions of the award.
